SchoolSmart KC has officially announced the finalists for their prestigious 2025 Charter Excellence in Education Awards—and we are thrilled to share that our amazing principal has been recognized for her excellence and dedication!

Here's what she nominated for:

• Star Leader: Lauren O'Connor (FSI Elementary) 

   

Mrs. O'Connor exemplify what it means to go above and beyond for her students and the Tiger community. Her passion, leadership, and hard work continue to inspire everyone around her.

The winners will be announced during the awards ceremony on Tuesday, August 5th at 5:30 PM, hosted at Royals Stadium – Diamond Club. We can’t wait to cheer them on!
