New Things Happening at FSHS' Library
Check out all of the great things going on in Ms. Mather's Library! Here is what she told us:
  • The district just upgraded our library software. For the first time students and staff can access the software from any device through their Clever account to research the library catalog and put books on hold. Additionally, students can write book reviews and create collections of materials from the library and the web to share and use when writing papers, presentations, and such.

  • I have a 1000 Book Challenge going on. This year, I have challenged the staff and students of FSHS to read 1000 books. There will be monthly prizes for the top reading homerooms and a drawing for 2 prizes from the top 5 readers. I am trying to find a corporate sponsor to pay for the year end celebration. I'm looking at maybe having a Kona Ice or ice cream truck visit the school in May should we succeed. If you are interested in sponsoring this year end event, please email Jennifer Watson at jwatson@frontierschools.org.

  • Several teachers in the district have been utilizing Donors Choose as a way to provide additional materials for our classrooms and libraries. I myself, have had almost $5000 worth of books donated to the library and I currently have an active project eligible for a double donation and another one just funded for over $5000. If you are interested in donating , please email Jennifer Watson at jwatson@frontierschools.org.
