Summer School 2022

Dear Frontier STEM High School Community,

We are excited to announce that Frontier STEM High School will be offering the traditional Summer School between Friday, May 27 - Firday, June 24, 2022.

IF YOU FAILED ANY COURSE or HAVE ANY MISSING CREDITS;

Summer School offers credit recovery options for students to earn required credits for failed coursework. The students who have missing credits have to attend summer school to take full advantage of this educational opportunity so that they can stay on track for graduation. Students who do not attend summer school and recover their missing credits may not be able to graduate on time.

IF YOU PASSED ALL OF YOUR COURSES BUT WANTED TO INCREASE YOUR GPA;

Summer School offers also course retake option for a higher course grade. (For example, you have earned a D in Algebra I but wanted to earn an A by retaking Algebra I). We strongly encourage you to take full advantage of this opportunity in order to increase your GPA which will result in receiving more scholarships for colleges. Please see your counselor (Mr. Taslama/Mrs. Kilic) to learn more about this opportunity.

Summer School Registration Steps

Here are the steps for your parents to sign you up for summer school. If your parent is not able to log in to PowerSchool, please ask them to call the front office at 816-541-8200

1) Go to PowerSchool

2) Click on the "Forms" from the left menu.

3) Then click on the "Frontier Schools Summer School Application" form

4) Submit the form after filling it out
