FAFSA Parent Night

Dear Seniors and Parents

There will be a parent academic and FAFSA Application night for seniors and parents on October 7 starting at 5:00 pm. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is an application form that determines the financial strength of students and families. Students can earn up to $9000 free money from both the Federal and the State government. FAFSA will be open on October 1st for the class of 2023.

We will provide information about Senior items including the Graduation requirements, and then start doing the FAFSA applications in the computer lab. The UMKC financial aid officer will also join us to help parents/students to submit the FAFSA.

Students,

FSHS will provide pizza and drinks for you. If you are attending this event please submit the short survey below so we can order pizza according to the number of participants. Please discuss it with your parents beforehand. Pizza, snacks, and drinks will be served as of 4:45 pm.

Items Needed for the FAFSA Application

-Student's SSN

-Student's Date of Birth

-Parent's SSN (If they have, if not no problem)

-Parent's Date of Birth

-Parent's Date of Marriage/divorce (if they are married or divorced)

-2021 Tax Return Papers
