Our VEX Robotics Program was recently featured on KCTV5's My KC Live, where Director of STEM Education, Dr. Ummuhan Geyik, and Science Teacher Rochelle Breslin had the opportunity to share the incredible benefits of the program with hosts Shane and Kerrigan.
During the segment, Dr. Geyik and Ms. Breslin highlighted how the VEX Robotics Program fosters creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in students. By engaging in hands-on STEM challenges, students not only develop technical skills but also build confidence and resilience, preparing them for success in both academics and future careers.
Adding to the excitement, Dr. Geyik and Ms. Breslin announced Frontier Schools’ first-ever VEX IQ Robotics Tournament, set to take place this Saturday, January 18th, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The tournament will be held in the gymnasium at Frontier School of Innovation – Middle, located at 1575 Universal Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64120.
The VEX IQ Tournament will bring together students, educators, and robotics enthusiasts for a day filled with innovation, competition, and community spirit. Attendees will have the chance to see young minds in action as they tackle exciting STEM challenges and demonstrate their robotics skills.
