Every student at Frontier Schools will receive a Chromebook to use at home to extend their learning beyond the classroom. This is because of a nearly $580,000 grant that allows the district to ensure that every student stays connected at home during the COVID-19 health emergency. Frontier Schools received this grant from the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) Program which is administered by USAC with oversight from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for 1,180 Dell Chromebook 3100 for 4th - 12th graders and 420 Dell Chromebook 3100 2-in-1 for PreK-3rd graders. The ECP Program provides funding to help schools and libraries keep students, staff, and patrons connected during the COVID-19 health emergency. Chromebooks will be utilized for online student programs, applications, etc.
