On a memorable evening at Kauffman Stadium, SchoolSmartKC and the Kansas City Royals Foundation hosted the 2025 Excellence in Education Awards Ceremony, a prestigious event that celebrates the hard work, passion, and impact of outstanding educators and staff from public and charter schools across Kansas City.
Over the past seven years, the ceremony has recognized more than 100 individual educators and awarded over $1.1 million to schools and teachers committed to educational excellence.
