FSI Middle NJHS Students Give Back at Ronald McDonald House!

The FSI Middle National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) recently demonstrated the true spirit of service through a meaningful community project at the Ronald McDonald House located at Children’s Mercy Hospital in downtown Kansas City.

As part of their commitment to helping others, NJHS students spent the day cooking a meal entirely from scratch and serving it to approximately 50 family members of children receiving medical treatment. The project not only provided comfort and nourishment to families during a challenging time but also gave students the opportunity to connect with the community in a deeply personal way.

Serving the community is one of the core pillars of the NJHS, and this experience allowed students to put those values into action. We’re so proud of our NJHS students for their dedication, empathy, and commitment to giving back to the community!
