Over the weekend, Frontier proudly hosted its 2nd Annual VEX IQ Robotics Competition at FSI-Middle, welcoming students, educators, and robotics enthusiasts for a full day of innovation, teamwork, and friendly competition.
The event was made possible through the support of many dedicated Frontier staff members who volunteered their time throughout the day to ensure the competition ran smoothly. Their commitment played a key role in creating a positive and well-organized experience for all participants.
Frontier is honored to be recognized as one of the few high-quality VEX IQ event organizers in the state, and we are proud to contribute to the growth and success of the broader robotics community. This year’s competition also welcomed a representative from the VEX Foundation, further highlighting the event’s impact and quality.
Teams from four different schools participated, with 25 teams competing in a collaborative and sportsmanlike environment. Four awards presented during the competition qualified teams for the state competition, marking an exciting achievement for the students involved.
All Frontier teams performed exceptionally well. We would like to congratulate the following award recipients:
-
Teams 243A and 243F partnered as allies in the finals and placed 2nd overall, earning the Teamwork Challenge – 2nd Place Award
-
Team 243C received the Sportsmanship Award
-
Team 243A received the Innovate Award
Thank you to everyone—students, coaches, staff, volunteers, and supporters—who helped make this event a success. We look forward to continuing to inspire creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving through robotics at Frontier.
