Superintendent
| Mr. Ugur Demircan has held the role of Superintendent at Frontier Schools since August 2014. Prior to his tenure at Frontier Schools, Mr. Demircan was an Area Superintendent for Harmony Public Schools in the regions of San Antonio, Laredo, and Brownsville, Texas. In this role, he supported and guided school administrators, oversaw curriculum and instructional programs, developed district improvement plans, and monitored instructional and managerial processes. His experience in education also includes positions as a teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal across several schools, culminating in a total of twenty-seven years dedicated to education. As a principal, his school was recognized among Newsweek's Ten Miracle High Schools and Top 25 Transformative High Schools and was listed in the Nation's Top 200 High Schools by the Washington Post. In 2003, Mr. Demircan was honored with the Jesse A. Dorrington Teacher of the Year award at the Houston Science and Engineering Fair. Mr. Demircan earned his Bachelor's degree in Computer Education from Marmara University and his Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Tyler. He is a distinguished member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society. On a personal note, Mr. Demircan has been happily married for 22 years to a Math teacher. He takes pride in being a parent within the Frontier School System, with his two daughters attending Frontier School of Innovation and Frontier STEM High Schools.
