<p data-start="86" data-end="395" class=""><span style="font-family:Tahoma;font-size:18px">On May 14, Frontier Schools had the honor of welcoming Stef Seger, a representative from META, to the district office for a special recognition event. During her visit, Ms. Seger presented Frontier Schools with a plaque acknowledging the district as a recipient of the META Data Center Community Action Grant.</span></p>
<p data-start="397" data-end="633" class=""><span style="font-family:Tahoma;font-size:18px">Superintendent Ugur Demircan and Board Member Cesar Cea proudly accepted the plaque on behalf of the district. The recognition highlights META’s commitment to supporting educational initiatives and innovation within the local community.</span></p>
<p data-start="635" data-end="937" class=""><span style="font-family:Tahoma;font-size:18px">Following the presentation, Dr. Geyik, Director of STEM Education, guided Ms. Seger on a brief tour of the district’s Innovation Lab. During the tour, Dr. Geyik shared how META’s generous donation helped fund the Frontier VEX Robotics Team’s trip to the 2024 World Championship in Dallas, Texas.</span></p>
<p data-start="939" data-end="1127" class=""><span style="font-family:Tahoma;font-size:18px">Ms. Seger also had the opportunity to meet members of the VEX Robotics Team via Zoom! The students were excited to express their gratitude and share how much the experience meant to them.</span></p>
