Frontier Robotics Teams Make Their Mark at the VEX IQ World Championship!

<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small; background-color: #ffffff"><div class="gmail_default">Frontier Schools’ VEX IQ teams proudly advanced to the World Championship this year with 8 teams. A total of 838 teams participated in the event from all around the world. FSI Middle Students Honored with Missouri Glory Award Resolutions!

Frontier School of Innovation Middle School is proud to celebrate a group of outstanding students who have been recognized with the prestigious Missouri Glory Award Resolutions. These honors are awarded to students who exemplify the core virtues that represent the values of the state of Missouri, including Knowledge, Liberty, Equality, Law, Justice, Fraternity, Education, Progress, Honor, Truth, Virtue, Temperance, Enterprise, and Charity. As part of this special recognition, the nominated students attended a ceremony at the Missouri State Capitol, where they were presented with official awards signed by the awarding Representative. This experience not only celebrated their achievements but also highlighted their character, leadership, and commitment to excellence. Now Accepting Summer School Applications!

Dear Parents/Guardians:Welcome to Summer School! Summer school will be in session May 26th-June 23rd (tentative), Monday through Friday. (FSHS/FSE 7:30 am - 1:55 pm, FSI-E/FSI-M 8:30am-3pm). Breakfast and lunch will be served every day. Summer school is open to all students and this shortened session provides for extended learning opportunities to support our students. Students will enjoy learning, and participating in fun activities and field trips.Students are expected to follow all policies, procedures, and rules stated in the Student Code of Conduct which can be found in the Student-Parent Handbook. Students who have Code of Conduct infractions, excessive absences, or tardiness in school or on the bus may be subject to dismissal from the Summer school program.Dress Code: Students may wear "Dress Down" clothes during Summer school. Clothes must be free from holes, excessive fraying and inappropriate words, pictures, etc. Shorts must be at least to the knee.The following are NOT allowed: Halter tops, tank tops, spaghetti strap tops, strapless tops, sheer (see through) or midriff baring tops, short shorts, skirts or dresses. No sandals, slides, crocs, high heels, slippers, or flip flops.**Students who earn summer school incentives must use them by the end of the 2026-2027 school year.**Attendance: Students are expected to be in attendance each day of Summer school. Community Update: City Response to Questions

Dear Frontier Families,As you may know, the City of Kansas City recently approved relocating a planned municipal detention center to a site near Frontier Schools.In response, Frontier Schools has been actively engaged by communicating with city leadership, meeting with local officials, and participating in community discussions to better understand the project and advocate for our students and families.We also gathered questions from our community and submitted them to the City, focusing on safety measures, emergency protocols, and the project timeline. FSI Middle Students Excel at HOSA State Leadership Conference!

On March 23–24, 12 students from FSI Middle attended the Missouri State Leadership Conference and represented our school exceptionally well. Their hard work, dedication, and talent were on full display throughout the competition. To qualify for the International Leadership Conference, students must place in the top three among finalists. FSI Middle FBLA Students Shine at State Competition!

On March 26, our Middle School FBLA chapter made an impressive debut at the State Competition in Columbia, Missouri. As a first-year organization, every member demonstrated remarkable courage and determination by stepping up to face new challenges—and their hard work truly paid off. The students earned top placements in three events, and one team has even qualified for the National FBLA Competition in San Antonio!
